What an amazing find it was to find Alex! I'm a property manager for a huge estate that seems to never run out of things to fix and Alex has been a life saver. I was having a hard time finding someone that could fix a custom shower in the master bathroom and he had no problem getting the job done. Alex from Derks plumbing has done work for me over a period of three years. The first job he did was pretty difficult involving a pipe to a septic tank under a cement driveway. This job involved some detective work, hard labor and good plumbing knowledge. Alex did a very thorough job that should make everything much easier in the future if this pipe gets clogged again. Alex returns calls, follows up to make sure things are ok, arrives as scheduled and is a nice person.

I never call or hire a contractor without consulting Yelp or other such facility to see what people have to say about it. Derks Plumbing is one of those 5-star outfits. I called Alex in the morning and in an hour was at the door. I needed to have the backed up toilet and clogged floor drain fixed right away as we had out-of-state guests. It was kinda urgent thing but I didn't tell him that. As it turned out there was no need to do so as he worked hard and fast to fix the problem. What sets him apart from many others is his patience of explaining things clearly and answering your questions and addressing your concerns. I told him he would be the first one I'm calling next time I have plumbing problem.
